[Insert Feed Name Here] doesn't display properly
Most feeds should display fine; if you come across one which doesn't work properly, please
let us know and we'll see what's causing the problem.
Why do I get the message "We were unable to find a feed at the URL you provided" when I add a feed?
There are two possibilities here. Either there is no RSS feed at that URL at all, or the RSS feed is malformed. Please
get in touch, letting us know the URL that has failed, and we'll do our best to find out why.
When I first add some feeds, why are all the article dates the current time?
Some feeds do not have date information with the summaries, or for some reason they set them to a time in the future, so we have to guess. In both of these cases, we set the date for the article as the time it was first seen by KickRSS; the first time a feed is fetched, all the articles will be given the same time. As we check all the feeds every hour for new articles, later articles will have dates at most an hour after they were published.
How do I use this with Apple's RSS Screen Saver?
First, browse to your feed in Safari, and bookmark it (remember the name you give it!). Next, go to the screensaver options (Apple -> System Preferences -> Desktop & Screen Saver. Select "RSS Visualiser", and then "Options".) and select the name you just gave your bookmark from the list.
NB: Apple's RSS Visualiser is only available on Mac OS 10.4 or higher.
Why don't you have [Insert Feature Here]?
We're still very much developing this site; if we don't do something, then we either haven't thought of it or haven't gotten around to it yet.
Telling us about it will likely get it done that much quicker. :-)
